Los Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson isn’t having a good start to the season on the field, and he has things off the field that need to be resolved as well.
A warrant has been issued for Jackson out of Attleboro District Court probation, USA TODAY Sports learned Monday.
Jackson was charged with criminal speeding in 2021. According to multiple reports, Jackson was ordered to pay a $300 fine and attend a reckless drivers class. The Chargers cornerback didn’t comply with his probation terms and didn’t appear in court last Friday, which prompted a warrant for his arrest.
The legal news concerning Jackson comes after he was a healthy scratch because of his performances before the Chargers’ Week 3 road game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Jackson has allowed 118 receiving yards and one touchdown in two games this season. He allowed 334 receiving yards and for touchdowns in five games last year before going down with a season-ending knee injury.

The Chargers signed Jackson to a five-year, $82.5 million deal during the 2022 free agency period after he spent his first four years with the New England Patriots.
