When it come to the Lachey family, summer fun is the perfect match!
Vanessa Lachey recently gave insight into her and husband Nick Lachey's summer plans, sharing a peek at their family's recent sun-soaked getaway to Cabo San Lucas. The 42-year-old shared a sweet family pic of her and the 98 Degrees member sharing kiss behind their three kids: sons Camden, 10, and Phoenix, 6, and daughter Brooklyn, 8.
"Te Amo! Taking much needed family time this summer! Gracias Cabo for the memories!" Vanessa captioned the June 6 post image. "Now on to the next stop. #LacheyPartyOf5."
The family snap comes just days after Nick shared his own tropical snap featuring him in a pool throwing Brooklyn in the air. He captioned the June 3 pic, "Flying into the weekend!!! #summerfun."
This vacation comes a little more than a month after the longtime couple wrapped up their Love Is Blind season four hosting duties following the April 14 finale.
"I don't want to say we don't know what we're doing, but we don't know what we're doing!" the NCIS: Hawai'i star told E! News in February. "Like most people, we're figuring it out as we go along."
Still, after more than 16 years together, Vanessa and Nick have plenty of tips to maintain a healthy relationship. Their secret ingredient? Talking to one another.
"What we constantly talk about learning is how important communication is," Vanessa explained. "Yes, it is so cliche. Yes, it is so like, 'Oh, we've heard it before.' Well, then use it."
"If people really turn towards each other and communicate, you will find that a lot of misunderstandings will get resolved," she continued. "You will find that nobody's a mind reader and you can actually really hear your partner out and understand where they're coming from and maybe help cater to that."
